Ensuring complete immunisation using IT

Immunisation is an effective health intervention, which saves millions of lives each year. But lack of immunisation has resulted in higher percentage of child mortality and disability, especially in developing countries. Organizations like WHO and UNICEF are trying for better immunisation coverage. But still the gap is wide and traditional solutions find it difficult to bridge it. Though Information Technology is being elaborately used in medical and healthcare, but the impact on neonatal and primary healthcare has not been substantial. But e-Immunisation has now set a new trail for effective primary healthcare and a healthy future ahead.
